This is Massena main man Jaysen Collins' side hustle. After leaving his job at industry big dog Turkey Flat, Jaysen started Massena and this more lo-fi project, JC's Own to show his own unique interpretations of the Barossa Valley wine style.
Jaysen now makes all the wines himself, focusing on old vines in great vineyards and the range has gone from strength to strength. They are a little wild and entirely fun to drink.
Look for carbonic Grenache, textural white blends, unusual varieties and blends, bunchy Pinots and even some adventurous wines from the USA.
