Inside you’ll find one of each Circle wine from the 2024 vintage: a textural Grenache Blanc, a crisp and dry Rosé, a vibrant Field Blend, a perfumed and spicy Grenache, a plush, cool-climate Shiraz, and the debut Shiraz/Grenache blend in the mix. Every bottle is hand-picked, wild fermented, and raised in ceramic eggs or large-format oak to preserve purity and drinkability.

2024 Yangarra Circle Grenache
The Circle Grenache is the newest addition to Peter Fraser’s ever-impressive Yangarra portfolio, and what a way to kick off this fresh-faced expression of McLaren Vale Grenache. Made in a bright, juicy, Nouveau-inspired style, this is a more playful, immediate take on the variety, yet still rooted in the same deep care and precision that defines Yangarra’s top-tier reds.
Sourced from bush vines planted in 2008 in the elevated, sandy ironstone soils of Blewitt Springs, this is estate-grown Grenache with serious pedigree. Fraser and his team handled it delicately - hand-picked, 50% whole berries, wild fermentation and a brief, gentle maceration before heading to a mix of stainless steel and old oak for a short five-month élevage. Certified organic and biodynamic, it’s farmed and made with a quality-first ethos that shines through in the glass.
The 2024 vintage brought some curveballs - summer rains followed by heat and a compressed harvest - but the end result in this wine is all energy and charm. Expect an aromatic riot of wild strawberries, cherry blossom and subtle spice, wrapped up in a silky, medium-bodied frame. It’s got enough structure to keep things interesting, but the core here is fruit, freshness and downright smashability.

2024 Yangarra Circle Shiraz
Crafted by Peter Fraser and his team at Yangarra Estate, the Circle Shiraz is your no-fuss, high-flavour companion for weeknights, weekends and everything in between. Drawn from their organically and biodynamically farmed vineyard in Blewitt Springs, this new release leans into the fresher, more drinkable side of McLaren Vale Shiraz - less weight, more energy, and all charm.
Grown on the ironstone-rich North Maslin Sands soils at the cooler, elevated northeast end of McLaren Vale, the fruit comes in with loads of natural acidity and vibrant character. It’s fermented wild, sees a gentle maceration on skins, then rests in old French puncheons and foudre for 11 months. This careful, hands-off approach keeps the wine light on its feet while still giving plenty of flavour.
In the glass, it’s all dark berries, black pepper and violets with just a touch of earthy spice. The palate is medium-weight and juicy, with soft tannins and a silky roll. No tricks, no heavy oak or jammy sweetness - just seriously good drinking Shiraz made by one of the country’s most talented winemakers.
It’s young, it’s energetic, and it’s a joy to drink. Grab it for your next barbecue or pizza night and pour generously. This is modern McLaren Vale with the volume turned way down and the approachability cranked up.
2024 Yangarra Circle Field Blend
Crafted by the formidable Peter Fraser and his winemaking team, this debut Circle Field Blend is Yangarra doing what it does best - growing Mediterranean grapes in McLaren Vale and turning them into something both delicious and unpretentious. It’s Grenache leading a happy gang of Carignan, Counoise, Cinsaut, Mourvèdre and Shiraz - all organically grown on the estate’s sandy Blewitt Springs soils.
With bright red fruits, a plush mid-palate and the kind of smooth, slurpable finish that begs for a chill and a picnic rug, this is a seriously moreish ‘casual red’ that doesn’t skimp on quality. Think of it as Grenache with friends - literally and figuratively.
The grapes were handpicked, with most co-fermented for a gentle 12 days on skins before maturing in older French puncheons and foudre for 11 months. It’s a blend that captures both the laid-back drinkability and the terroir detail of this special corner of McLaren Vale.
A joyful, energetic red that showcases the pedigree of Yangarra’s biodynamic estate, at a price that’ll make you want to grab a few for the fridge. Your new house red? Quite possibly.
2024 Yangarra Circle Rose
The debut vintage of Circle Rosé sees Yangarra bring their trademark purity and polish to the pink wine party at a price that feels like a gift.
Made from a medley of Mourvèdre, Grenache, Shiraz, and their Provençal cousins Carignan, Counoise and Cinsault, this organically farmed and biodynamically grown fruit is all estate-picked and handled with a feather-light touch. Peter Fraser and his team have delivered a bone-dry rosé that’s bursting with just-picked strawberry, rosehip and white cherry, backed by a saline, tangy snap of acidity that practically begs for sunshine and seafood.

"A come-hither colour and classically dry, but there’s a succulent sweetness to the fruit flavours, allied with a textural pliancy. The acidity offers freshness but is also soft enough for that texture to play out. Poached strawberry, watermelon, white cherry, rosehip, musk and freshly ground cinnamon, all elegantly reflected. There’s clearly a lot of thought to the flavour and shape, but you’d be forgiven for focusing on the deliciousness."

2024 Yangarra Circle Grenache Blanc
This is the debut release of Circle - a brand-new range from Yangarra focused on expressive, organically grown wines that punch well above their weight. And what a way to kick things off. The 2024 Circle Grenache Blanc is not only a brilliant first outing for this rare variety in Australia, it also steps into the shoes of the much-loved Yangarra Blanc, our 2024 Bargain White Wine of the Year. Big shoes, no problem.
Grown on Yangarra’s certified organic and biodynamic vineyard in McLaren Vale’s elevated northeast, the fruit comes from a vintage that threw a few surprises - an early promise of heat gave way to mid-season rains, resulting in fruit with generosity, texture, and natural freshness. The team responded with deft vineyard work and a precise pick, giving us a white that’s bursting with energy and flavour.
Expect a wash of lemon blossom, green apple, and citrus pith, backed by savoury hints of almond meal and fennel. The use of ceramic egg, stainless steel and old oak gives it just the right amount of mid-palate texture while keeping things crisp and refreshing on the finish.
This is a seriously versatile white that’s built for the table - but it’s also just a pleasure to drink. As far as debut releases go, this one’s a beauty. Exceptional value, huge potential, and an exciting new chapter for one of Australia’s most forward-thinking producers.

"All estate-grown biodynamic and organic fruit, matured in ceramic egg and old French barrels. Golden apples, Meyer lemon, a herbal mint/sage/cypress note, sappy florals and a little brown spice. This is full of both flavour and vital energy, the palate built on leesy texture, a subtly pithy chew and gentle but active acidity. Ordering
We want Different Drop customers to always be getting the best price. If you see a lower price elsewhere, just get in touch and we will sort it out for you. We handle all our price-matching on a case by case basis.

- Retrospective price-matching is available for 30 days after you have purchased from us.

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.
We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.
