Named James Halliday's Best Value Winery for 2020, owner/winemaker Bruce Dukes has a wealth of winemaking experience both here and abroad, including a stint at Francis Ford Coppola's iconic Niebaum Coppola winery in the Napa Valley.
His wines are made from traditional Margaret River varieties with a focus on premium Chardonnay and Cabernet that rival the best of the region. From the top-shelf premium range to the excellent 'daily drinking' wines, everything made by the hands of Bruce is outstanding value for money!

Bruce Dukes' winemaking starts literally from the ground up.
The man has been obsessed with growing things for over two decades and it shows in every wine he makes. His roots have been put down in Margaret River, and as such he has immense insight into what the balance of soil, aspect and clone can do to a wine in this part of the world. One of his great loves is Margaret River Cabernet - and with this wine, we can definitely see why.
He explained to us, "Rebus is a picture puzzle that when you look at it, the solution is not immediately apparent, there may be several solutions. That's why I love Margaret River Cabernet - it's constantly changing and it keeps me constantly challenged."

2022 Domaine Naturaliste Artus Chardonnay
After 20 years observing the area, Bruce Dukes decided all the Chardonnays from Domaine Naturaliste would be crafted entirely from the Gin Gin clone.
He selected a vineyard in the South of Margaret River that had Gin Gin cropped in a particular way, with little light flooding through the canopy. He wanted flavour intensity without the tannins that come with over-ripeness and he got it. The result of his search are the twin Chardonnays Artus and Purus.
Artus is the voluptuous seductress. The powerhouse Margaret River Chardonnay with a gymnast-like balance. 40% new oak, richness and zip in equal proportion.
2022 Domaine Naturaliste Purus Chardonnay
The Purus is a razor-sharp beauty of a Chardonnay.
There is no malolactic fermentation or excessive oak maturation, just pure and pristine Chardonnay fruit from the cooler southern reaches of Margaret River. Wild herbs and florals, grapefruit and citrus, pebbles and stones...
There's fantastic tension and nerve, and a biting minerality within a soothingly fine palate.
Wonderful counterpoint to the rich Artus Chardonnay, cementing Domaine Naturaliste's position among the upper echelon of Australia's Chardonnay producers.

2018 Domaine Naturaliste Morus Cabernet Sauvignon
The Morus is the flagship Cabernet Sauvignon cuvee from Domaine Naturaliste.
The oldest and best vineyard source in Bruce Dukes' portfolio, this is grown on some of the most coveted Cabernet vines in Margaret River. Morus australis is the species name for the mulberry tree, mulberry being the key identifying characteristic of this wine, according to the winemaker.
This wine finds itself amongst the most elite of Margaret River Cabernet.
A powerful wine of commanding presence and outstanding quality built for the long haul in the cellar.
2020 Domaine Naturaliste Le Naturaliste Cabernet Franc
The Le Naturaliste is the latest addition to Bruce Dukes' Flagship range.
A straight varietal Cabernet Franc born from Dukes' finest parcel of fruit from the heart of Margaret River - this is a stunning example of the poetential for this variety when made in a reserve style.
Think of it as Cabernet Sauvignon's sleeker, more elegant cousin. It's gracefully aromatic, and shows exceptional structure for the variety. It's Australian Cabernet Franc in full stride.

We want Different Drop customers to always be getting the best price. If you see a lower price elsewhere, just get in touch and we will sort it out for you. We handle all our price-matching on a case by case basis.

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.
We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.
