Serrat
Recognised as one of the country's leading producers of cool climate wines for the work he's done under the banner of Yabby Lake in Mornington Peninsula, Tom Carson's personal label with his wife Nadège Sune became an overnight success story when they took home James Halliday's Wine of the Year for their 2014 Shiraz Viognier.
Since then, their wines have become as rare as hen's teeth. Their limited single-vineyard offerings are now hunted by collectors and quickly squirrelled away by those on the mailing list.
These are small-batch handcrafted wines that chanel a sense of place. Never available for long, the Serrat wines are some of the finest of the modern Yarra Valley.
