Robert Weil
Weingut Robert Weil is one of Germany's, and the world's greatest white wine producers, focusing on just one grape variety - Riesling.
The estate was founded in 1867 by Dr Robert Weil in the beautiful village of Kiedrich, on the north side of the Rhine River, in the historic Rheingau region. Today, the estate is run by the fourth generation Wilhelm Weil, who meticulously oversees 90 hectares of Riesling, and wine releases across all sweetness formats.
Their greatest sites can be found in the foothills of Taunus mountains, the three famous vineyard sites of Kiedricher Turmberg, Kiedricher Klosterberg and Kiedricher Grafenberg.
These are epic wines, particularly the GG Grafenberg, and recent vintages are some of the best ever.
