Laura Lardy
As a fourth-generation winemaker, with a father and brother who make wines under their own labels, Laura Lardy opted to work elsewhere but felt the pull back to the family estate in 2015. Since taking over the viticultural duties of vineyards rented from her father, she has well and truly begun their conversion to organic practices.
Lardy produces wines from four Beaujolais crus: Morgon, Fleurie, Chénas, and Moulin á Vent. In order to let the terroirs fully express themselves, she uses minimal sulphur, wild yeasts, and only old, neutral oak for the wines she creates from Gamay and Chardonnay.
