Guillaume Overnoy
For those who are familiar with the cult wines of the Jura will be familiar with the surname Overnoy. The great Pierre Overnoy is one of the cultural icons of the area and has done much for the reputation of France's smallest wine-growing region.
Domaine Overnoy is operated by Pierre's great nephew, Guillaume - a young man in his 20s who took control of his family's wines in 2013. He now farms 5.5 hectares under vine without the use of chemicals in Orbagna, Jura.
He is one of the region's young gun producers making honest wines that follow in the footsteps of the region's great makers.
Only small allocation of Guillaume's wines make it here and they disappear quickly.
