Domaine de Souch
The picturesque Domain de Souch is located outside of Pau in the foothills of the Pyrenees, in very bottom left corner of France.
It is run by Madame Yvonne Hegoburu, now well into here nineties, who carried on the legacy of her husband who decided to renovate an old farm in the 1970s but who died soon after the project was finished. She discovered biodynamics in the 1990s and was certified in 1994.
Most famous for their wonderful sweet 'Moelleux' wines, made from local varieties Gros and Petit Manseng, and Courbu, we also love the penetrating, complex dry white wine styles. All are made within the Jurancon appellation.
