Craiglee
In the 1860s, the Craiglee farm was under vine.
The site produced some highly acclaimed wines but like so many vineyards of old, when grapes ceased to be profitable, other forms of farming took their place.
Patrick and Dianne Carmody replanted their small farm in Sunbury in 1979. Their first commercial release was the 1980 vintage Shiraz. And, as they say, the rest was history.
Today the Craiglee Shiraz is one of the most collectable in Victoria. An old-world charm and finesse pulses through the wine's veins.
This wine is the cornerstone of many great cellars. And rightfully so, year after year this site delivers effortless Shiraz of class and purity with great longevity in the cellar.
