Clos Saouma
Mounir Saouma has been one of the more talked-about negociants in Burgundy over the last decade.
Given the limited availability of land in Burgundy and the fact that he only selects fruit from 1er & Grand Cru sites, if he were to have a chance at owning his own vineyard he would need to look elsewhere.
He settled on a stony patch of land in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Cotes du Rhone that he could call his own and is turning out fabulous examples of both Blanc and Rouge that have the same opulence and gravitas that have set his Burgundy cuveés apart.
