Helene and David Barrault started their small Chateau on the banks of the Gironde in 1997, in 2008 they started working organically and in 2014 they received certification. It’s important to note that whilst increasingly we see organics becoming the norm, this is not yet the case in Bordeaux.
The family farm Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, along with some small pockets of local varieties and with these vines they craft a collection of lo-fi reds made with minimal additions and a natural mindset.
