Koen Janssens is one half of the crazy duo that creates the flamboyant Yetti and the Kokonut wines (he’s Kokonut).
With Yetti, Koen experiments with white and orange winemaking, with his own label Bink, he takes a broader approach.
Starting his journey in wine as a sommelier, it was a stint at Quay in Sydney that made him realise his calling was making, not selling wine.
Moving to South Australia, Koen learned from some great people including James Erskine, Anton Von Klopper, and Pete Schell, before setting forth on his own path with Yetti and the Kokunut, and then Bink.
