Nicholas Brown of Black Estate: 2022 NZ Winemaker of the Year!
Excitingly, Nicholas was recently crowned as the 2022 NZ Winemaker of the Year by Gourmet Traveller Wine! We recently tried their 2020 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay releases, and were blown away by their class, power and sophistication. Check them out here while you can!
Triple Trophy-Winner: 2019 Sutton Grange Fairbank Syrah
This is one highly decorated 2019 Fair Bank Syrah from Sutton Grange, and it happens to be one of the last wines made by the supremely skilled hands of Melanie Chester during her tenure as winemaker there. This little gem took out three trophies at the 2022 National Wine Show - it delivers everything you'd want in an Aussie Syrah, and under $30 to boot.
