Our imports buyer, Ian Barr, has been hard at work selecting his top picks from our American wine collection - and after a couple of bottles, he's managed to nail it down a few favourites...

We're starting up our interstellar tour bus to visit all corners of the wine universe in helter-skelter fashion throughout the entire month of July. Today, we celebrate the cerebral and serious side of Beaujolais, with new releases from DD favourite Domaine Marc Delienne and a spectacular set of new arrivals from Laura Lardy - as well as other magical wines from Anne-Sophie Dubois, Domaine de la Grosse Pierre, Gregoire Hoppenot and Domaine de la Bonne Tonne. Today we bring you the exquisite 2021 Single Vineyard Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays from Steve Flamsteed and Mel Chester at Giant Steps.It's an incredible suite of wines from one of the premier wine labels in Australia. Very limited quantities, so secure some for yourself while you can!

We only recently had the pleasure of meeting Keira O'Brien for the first time and had a chance to taste her fledgling Tasmanian label, Rivulet. We were sold from the get-go. These are exciting Tasmanian wines that we immediately fell in love with and we cannot recommend them enough.

Excitingly, Nicholas was recently crowned as the 2022 NZ Winemaker of the Year by Gourmet Traveller Wine! We recently tried their 2020 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay releases, and were blown away by their class, power and sophistication. Check them out here while you can!

This is one highly decorated 2019 Fair Bank Syrah from Sutton Grange, and it happens to be one of the last wines made by the supremely skilled hands of Melanie Chester during her tenure as winemaker there. This little gem took out three trophies at the 2022 National Wine Show - it delivers everything you'd want in an Aussie Syrah, and under $30 to boot.
