2022 Koehler-Ruprecht Kallstadter Kabinett Trocken Riesling
Outstanding value premium Riesling from the Pfalz, from a cult producer renowned for making textured, slightly oxidative wines, with long ageing in oak.
This premium-grade fruit is picked by hand in five stages to attain perfect balance of both ripeness and steely acidity. The ferment is arrested just before the wine goes dry, which gives it a sweet, lime-and-honey-like character.
This long, slow, time to get to bottle is well worth it. This drinks like a dream.
2019 De Iuliis Aged Semillon
Since taking the reigns at his family winery, Mike De Iuliis has shaped a modern range of site-specific wines that represent the very best of the Hunter.
Hunter Valley Semillon is one of Australia’s most iconic wine styles, and the 2019 De Iuliis Aged Semillon is an excellent value example of why this wine style continues to captivate. Released after five years of careful cellaring, this wine showcases the magic that time brings to Hunter Semillon.
The 2019 Aged Semillon is sourced from the sandy creek flats of the Garden vineyard. It's a complex wine with delicate citrus notes, a soft, honeyed richness, and a bright acid core. The 2019 vintage produced low yields but exceptional quality, resulting in a wine that is golden and luscious yet still lively and fresh.
This Semillon is perfect to enjoy now, though it promises to evolve beautifully over the next decade.

"Ready to drink now with an engaging mix of freshness and aged characters. A lovely acid core defines the fruit flavours; however, the overall vibe of the wine is one of softness and delicacy. There are subtle smoky/nutty tones on the nose and palate with moderate length. Further cellaring is not required. Open and enjoy. Fabulous for the price."

2024 Patrick Sullivan Chardonnay
Patrick Sullivan is a name synonymous with exceptional Australian Chardonnay.
Here's a top-value way to sample his sensational stylings with this variety, with this very reasonably-priced entry-level Pat Sullivan wine!
This, only the third-ever release, continues to honour the volcanic soils of Southern Australia with a wine that strikes a lovely balance between richness, well-defined fruit, and distinctive soil-derived minerality.
The vineyards are nestled along Australia's unique limestone coast. This region is the world's third-largest volcanic plain, harbouring approximately 400 dormant volcanoes. Who knew?!
Pat's deep-rooted connection to this area, where he spent much of his childhood, fills him with tremendous enthusiasm as he offers this great modern representation of Australian Chardonnay.

"It feels familiar, a wine from the past, the affordable cellar dweller for the flavourtown chardonnay drinkers, and it’s great for that."

2024 Xavier Goodridge Pa Pa Pinot Noir
Xavier Goodridge’s 2024 Pa Pa Pinot Noir is the kind of wine that just makes you smile. Sourced from Mount Gambier and Heywood in South West Victoria, this is Xavier’s original flagship wine—a joyous, no-fuss Pinot designed for pure enjoyment.
It's a playful Pinot with its bright ruby hue, inviting you in with aromas of cherry blossoms, rose petals, and hibiscus. The palate bursts with juicy cranberry and tart cherry flavours, touched by a hint of sweet kirsch and nervy acidity.
Fermented in stainless steel and aged in a mix of stainless and old barrels, this Pinot Noir keeps its focus on bright fruit and lively acidity. It’s light-bodied, with a savoury finish that makes it incredibly moreish. Chill it down and serve it on a warm day—it’s a Pinot meant to be enjoyed casually, at a picnic or around the dinner table.
This is a wine that’s all about easy, breezy drinking, with just enough complexity to keep you coming back for more.
2023 Thierry Germain Cep by Cep Anjou Rouge
This bright little Loire gem from Thierry Germain is a love letter to Cabernet Franc, distilled down to pure, juicy drinkability.
Hand-harvested from organic vineyards on gravelly shale soils, this Franc ticks all the boxes for purity and freshness. Raised in stainless steel with minimal intervention, the 2023 Cep by Cep is stripped down to the essentials with no sulphur added until bottling.
Crafted in the spirit of “early to the party,” this Anjou Rouge is all about immediacy and pleasure - think summer berries and woodsy herbs splashed with Loire Valley sunshine. With every sip, it practically dances across the palate: vibrant, alive, and polished with just enough tannic grip to keep you coming back for more.
For those looking to dabble in the Loire Valley or seasoned fans in search of a mid-week red with backbone, this is an affordable, authentic drop that’s ideal with everything from roast chicken to a charcuterie spread.
2023 Mercer Wines Shiraz Nouveau
If you're looking for a modern, vibrant Shiraz, here's your number.
Aaron Mercer sources fruit from the Hunter Valley for this one, and with minimal tinkering and no preservatives, he transforms it into a spicy, earthy, floral delight perfect to rip into right now. He keeps the focus on fruit purity, with red and purple fruits to the front and oak influence minimal.
The perfect red for any day or night of the week.

Ordering
We want Different Drop customers to always be getting the best price. If you see a lower price elsewhere, just get in touch and we will sort it out for you. We handle all our price-matching on a case by case basis.
Some things to keep in mind:
- Retrospective price-matching is available for 30 days after you have purchased from us.
- The price match cannot be used in conjunction with a coupon or one-off deal we are offering. The idea is for you to get the best price in the market so if that is already achieved through a coupon then we won't price match on top of that.
- We don't price match clearance or fire sales.
- We’ll match the listed price as long as it is a legitimate offer and the competing store is actually able to fulfil the order (they have stock or more stock is en route). Essentially we won't price match cheeky vendors listing wines they have no hope of actually getting for you...
- It must be a publicly listed price. We won't match a price that has been achieved through a coupon/cash-back arrangement, or through a non-advertised offer over the phone or otherwise.
- It is limited to a reasonable retail quantity.
We'll treat each price match request on its merit and reserve the right to refuse where we deem fit. For example, particularly rare wines, from non-trust-worthy vendors, in circumstances we deem illegitimate or if we feel our policy is being unfairly taken advantage of.
At the end of the day, we'll look after you and use common sense to ensure you're getting the best price, please just don't take the p%$$!
No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.
We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.
If you want to bulk order gifts or if you have any trouble please email hello@differentdrop.com or call and we can try and help.
If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
