2023 Mulline Sauvignon Blanc
This Sauvignon Blanc from Mulline checks all of the boxes for the variety, and at a very reasonable price point too.
It uses fruit from two different vineyards in Geelong, that then get fermented and matured in different vessels - some in old oak to build texture, some in tank to give some steely zing.
Botanicals, snow pea, soft and delicate fruit with a chalky texture, finishing dry and keeping your mouth watering for more.

"A deepish, bright gold with green tinges. Richer and more powerful than last year's version. A little mango to go with the white peach, greengages and gentle, jalapeño/grassy notes. Textured and flavourful with crisp acidity rounding out a wine to drink and enjoy now." - Philip Rich (Halliday Wine Companion)
2023 Mulline Pinot Gris
Pinot Gris (or Grigio) has come a long way in Australia. From humble beginnings in southern Victoria, it was the first 'alternative' variety to officially graduate the AAVWS and be seen as a mainstream variety.
It's easy to see why when you look at the Mulline Pinot Gris. This is definitely more Gris than Grigio, with lifted florals, ripe stone fruits and a bit of spice coming through. The wine also saw a small amount of skin contact to provide texture, which rounds out the rich palate and makes this incredibly more-ish.

"It’s both textural and tasty. In fact it gives the impression that it’s a cut above the norm. Pear skins, nectarine, cider apple and stone-like characters. Some spice; some spark. Texture in the context of flow. Very good. Dry and serious."
- Campbell Mattinson (The Wine Front)
2023 Mulline Rose
Looking for dry and delicious Rose from the Best Value Winery in Australia this year (according to Halliday Wine Companion)? Well, this is the only wine in the country that fits that bill.
Ben Mullen crafts this from mostly Syrah (Shiraz) with a touch of Pinot Noir. Barrel fermented and aged on lees for a few months to slowly build texture, this is a beautiful, delicate and floral take on quasi-Provencale-style Rose.
It's slippery, gently spicy and a lot of fun to drink.

"A blend of 80/20% shiraz/pinot. Whole-bunch pressed and fermented and matured in old puncheons. An enticing, bright salmon pink. Aromas of red fruits, red apple skins and a little spice precede the palate, which is bone-dry, flavoursome, pithy and refreshing. Well priced too."
- Philip Rich (Halliday Wine Companion)
2023 Mulline Pinot Noir
Absolutey fresh A.F.
Only 10% whole bunches, but that is enough to bring a hypnotic and spicy fragrance to the wine. It's one of those Pinots you could simply smell all day - bright red berries, green stems, clay and white pepper all come through.
The palate is juicy, bright and refreshing. It has a high acid count, making this a dangerously drinkable bottle of wine. Give it a chill and a serve in big splashy glasses. Delicious and friendly, which is what wine should be.
2023 Mulline Syrah
If you like your Syrah's bright, casual and filled with plums, dark berries and a dusting of peppery spice, look no further - Mulline has the goods.
The fruit for this comes from Geelong and surrounds, with a solid portion of whole bunches in the mix to bring some seductive aromatic lift. The mix then gets matured in French oak puncheons (20% new) for around 7 months.
Silky tannins, spice, and all things nice - the perfect early drinking Syrah option from the Mulline range.
93 Points
"A medium, bright crimson. Red-fruited, with just the right amount of white and black pepper and gentle florals. Medium bodied, this elegant and nicely poised wine will provide plenty of enjoyment in the short- to medium-term."
- Philip Rich (Halliday Wine Companion)

Ordering
We want Different Drop customers to always be getting the best price. If you see a lower price elsewhere, just get in touch and we will sort it out for you. We handle all our price-matching on a case by case basis.
Some things to keep in mind:
- Retrospective price-matching is available for 30 days after you have purchased from us.
- The price match cannot be used in conjunction with a coupon or one-off deal we are offering. The idea is for you to get the best price in the market so if that is already achieved through a coupon then we won't price match on top of that.
- We don't price match clearance or fire sales.
- We’ll match the listed price as long as it is a legitimate offer and the competing store is actually able to fulfil the order (they have stock or more stock is en route). Essentially we won't price match cheeky vendors listing wines they have no hope of actually getting for you...
- It must be a publicly listed price. We won't match a price that has been achieved through a coupon/cash-back arrangement, or through a non-advertised offer over the phone or otherwise.
- It is limited to a reasonable retail quantity.
We'll treat each price match request on its merit and reserve the right to refuse where we deem fit. For example, particularly rare wines, from non-trust-worthy vendors, in circumstances we deem illegitimate or if we feel our policy is being unfairly taken advantage of.
At the end of the day, we'll look after you and use common sense to ensure you're getting the best price, please just don't take the p%$$!
No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.
We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.
If you want to bulk order gifts or if you have any trouble please email hello@differentdrop.com or call and we can try and help.
If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
