For wine lovers everywhere who are on a quest to find affordable, interesting and high quality wines, one of the hero producers to know is Hoddles Creek.
They're a family run, Yarra Valley operation headed by maestro Franco D'Anna, and how he continues to make such fantastic wines at this price point remains a mystery to us... but we certainly aren't complaining!
We have the 94 point winning, limited 2022 release of SKINS available now - arguably Australia's leading example of skin contact Pinot Gris that proves some seriously incredible things come in 500ml packages...
But if a more classically styled Pinot Gris sounds more up your alley, Hoddles have one of those in their fleet too. As with the rest of their range, it majorly over-delivers in the bang for your buck stakes, getting an equal 94 points as its skinsy sibling. This is (in our opinion) Australia's best value Pinot Gris.
You can also find the 2022 Wickhams Road Whitlands Pinot Noir amongst the bunch, and with this much personality at the bargain price of $22 a bottle this might just be the Victorian Pinot buy of the century.
All three of these wines come in at $25 or under and have received some lovely words from The Wine Front team, proving yet again that Hoddles Creek is one of the best value wine producers in Australia. Saluti!
