2016 Cabernet Malbec

And finally, a brand new wine from the S.C. Pannell stable, and a wine very close to Steve's heart.

Steve Pannell's favourite Australian wines come from the hallowed soils at Wendouree in the Clare Valley. These wines have been a benchmark in Steve's mind for many years.

This new release is Steve's ode to the Wendouree Cabernet Malbec, sung with a McLaren Vale accent.

The Cabernet vines were planted in the late 1800s on Steve's Koomilya property, the Malbec vines are 25 years old from a block next door in Seaview.

This is about balance, density and drive. A wine that will stand the test of time.

"My ode to Wendouree..."

- S.C. Pannell
