2023 Giant Steps Yarra Valley Pinot Noir
The Yarra Valley Pinot Noir is the perpetually excellent entry point to Mel Chester's highly acclaimed Giant Steps range.
This is a superb entry point into the world of premium Yarra Pinot Noir, with fruit sourced from the Sexton, Applejack, Tarraford and Primavera vineyards. It's made with around 40% whole bunches and meticulous attention to detail, for which Chester has become renowned. Unfined and unfiltered, too.
Aromatic red fruits, good refreshing mid-palate and a light, earthy grip on the finish.
If you want to get familiar with this stellar Yarra Valley producer, this is the best place to start.

2023 Vignerons Schmolzer & Brown Beechworth Pinot Noir
Tessa and Jeremy realised that they've been working a lot more closely with small parcels of fruit from various vineyards around Beechworth, and it just made natural sense to them to make a range to hero the varieties that do so well in this region.
This Pinot Noir is part of the line-up, made in tiny volumes from specifically selected small sites.
Made in the VS&B house style, everything walks a delicate tightrope of balance - bright red fruit, vibrant aromatics and natural acidity.
2023 Two Tonne Tasmania TMV Pinot Noir
The TMV Pinot Noir is a composite blend of all the Tamar Valley Pinot Noir sites that are farmed by Ricky Evans.
It's a glimpse at the vintage for the Tamar Valley sub-region. This is not your average 'entry level' Pinot Noir, this is a beautifully crafted, elegant representation of Pinot Noir from the north of the island.
It's a cracking wine with immaculate fruit and a savoury backbone - a great representation of the quality being produced by a new wave of Tasmanian winemaking rock stars.

2023 Garagiste Le Stagiaire Pinot Noir
Barney Flanders loves Pinot Noir, and every release of the value-packed Le Stagiaire Pinot Noir seems to out do the previous one. It has been one of the most popular wines in Different Drop history.
Minimal whole bunches used in the ferment as usual, with wild ferment, three weeks on skins and further ageing in concrete, foudre and old barrels It's unfined and unfiltered, with plenty of savoury complexity to balance the beautifully ripe and pure Pinot fruit.
Simply put this wine represents the essence of Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir. Value for money wise, this is an Australian Pinot Noir star.

"Sunday lunch and a bottle of this wine, all shared with friends. Best I buy two bottles then. This is a delightful, highly perfumed and enticing offering. Flutters of florals, warm spices and alpine herbs, while the light- to medium-bodied palate unfurls with sweet cherries, a touch of Moroccan mint and some woodsy notes. It’s mouth-wateringly fresh thanks to tangy acidity all covered in filagree tannins. Lovely drinking here, folks."

"This is spicy, red fruited, some dried mint and flowers. kind of exotic too with that cardamom pod thing. It’s medium-bodied, sappy and crunchy, cherry and stawberry, dried herb perfume, the tannin just sits so well within the wine and it lays on the charm from front to back. It’s savoury and saline, some almond paste, but has vibrancy and plenty of fruit. It has personality and more than a little chutzpah. More importantly, it drinks a charm."

2023 Michael Hall Sang de Pigeon Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir from Michael Hall shows the depth of fruit flavour that can be found in Pinot from the higher altitude vineyards in the Adelaide Hills.
15% of this release was fermented as whole bunches giving a little extra grunt and drive to the structure.
It is full flavoured Pinot Noir of great impact and depth.
A bold Pinot Noir with serious charisma, and a steal at this price.

We want Different Drop customers to always be getting the best price. If you see a lower price elsewhere, just get in touch and we will sort it out for you. We handle all our price-matching on a case by case basis.
Some things to keep in mind:
- Retrospective price-matching is available for 30 days after you have purchased from us.

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.
We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.
