2024 Papagiannakos Old Vines Savatiano

Papagiannakos is a name worth knowing if you’ve got even a passing interest in Greek wine. Based just outside Athens, the family’s been working with Savatiano for generations - long before anyone outside Greece was paying much attention.

Today, Vassilis Papagiannakos is leading the charge to show what this humble local grape can really do, and this vino is a great example of what he's trying to tell the world about.

The fruit comes off 70-year-old, dry-grown vines planted in limestone-rich soils, and what you get in the glass is all about freshness and charm. It’s clean and lively, with gentle citrus and a little herbal lift. There’s a lovely, easy texture through the middle and a nicely dry finish that makes it a natural with food.

It's a lovely, honest wine that captures its place. Authentic, refreshing, and bloody good value for what it is.

2024 Douloufakis Dafnios Vidiano

If you're an adventurous soul, you'll delight in this new find from a place of real antiquity. Vidiano is a rare white grape from the island of Crete, offering up a stylish, textural white with depth.

Like other white grapes revived from near extinction (think Arneis, Viognier), Vidiano is a tricky variety that doesn't produce big crops. But dedicated organic growers like Douloufakis sensitively ferment and age in stainless steel to maintain bright fruit and freshness.

Fleshy with yellow pear, honeysuckle florals and lovely lemon zestiness, if you're into comparisons, it's a little like Pinot Gris with a touch more flair.

You'll love this distinctive white with the bold spice and smoke of barbecued seafood.

2024 Kir Yianni Assyrtiko Amyndeon PGI

Kir-Yianni’s Assyrtiko is a bright, finely tuned take on Greece’s flagship white, shaped by the cool, high-altitude vineyards of Amyndeon and the region’s steady, continental climate.

A short stint on skins, stainless steel fermentation, and a few months resting on fine lees gives the wine just the right amount of texture and detail without muting the grape’s natural zip.

It’s fresh and focused, with lemon, green apple and a touch of stone fruit over a clean, chalky finish. There’s a quiet energy here - nothing flashy, just beautifully made and easy to drink.

Whether you’re pouring it by the glass or pulling it out with seafood, this is modern Assyrtiko done right - snappy, textural and seriously refreshing.

2024 Zafeirakis Limniona Rose

Christos Zafeirakis is a champion of the variety Limniona. Limniona is a rare indigenous Greek red variety that is most often found in Thessaly but, thanks to great work by Christos, has increasing prominence across Greece. It’s a red grape suited to both table reds and rose.

All the Zafeirakis vineyards are certified organic and the fruit quality is excellent. Christos prides himself on chasing freshness and subtlety over richness and power, and we certainly see that here, deliciously fresh with pretty berries and cranberry crunch.

It’s a wine that will hit the spot but also offer a new shade of pink to your Rose line up. Give it a whirl.

"Brilliant pink hue with aromas of wild strawberry, thyme and spring blossoms. Dry, crisp palate bursts with juicy watermelon, strawberry and fresh herbs. Flavourful, pure and beautifully balanced."

2024 Gaia Monograph Agiorgitiko

Gaia were one of the first crews to really put modern Greek wine on the map back in the 90s, and they still know how to deliver the goods.

This Monograph Agiorgitiko is the perfect starting point if you haven't dabbled much in indigenous Greek reds. Sourced from higher-altitude vines in the Peloponnese, it manages to hold onto its freshness despite the Mediterranean heat.

They haven't messed about with oak here. It's all done in stainless steel to keep the fruit front and center, letting the variety speak for itself. The result is super vibrant - deep purple in the glass with loads of ripe cherry and pomegranate fruit.

It’s medium-bodied with really soft, smooth tannins that just glide across the palate. Honestly, it's just a smashable red that doesn't need overthinking. Works a treat with spicy food or grilled lamb, and it definitely benefits from 20 mins in the fridge before you pour.

2023 Thymiopoulos Young Vines Xinomavro

Apostolos Thymiopoulos has almost single-handedly put Naoussa and Xinomavro back on the map, and his Young Vines bottling is where most people first fall for his wines. It’s made from younger plantings around his family vineyards in northern Greece, farmed biodynamically and handled with the same care as his top cuvées, but released early to be more approachable.

The 2023 is fermented naturally, aged in concrete and large old oak, with minimal intervention – Apostolos is all about letting the fruit and place do the talking. The style here is bright and juicy, full of red fruit and spice, with that trademark Xinomavro savoury edge but without the firm tannin grip you often see in more serious bottlings.

It’s the kind of wine that’s dangerously easy to drink, versatile at the table, and just a great way to get to know both the grape and the winemaker. For the price, it’s hard to beat – an authentic taste of Naoussa from one of Greece’s most exciting producers.

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.

No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.

Most wine retailers list at a single-bottle price and then discount 10–15% when you buy six or twelve. We've taken the opposite approach. Since the overwhelming majority of our orders are already 6 bottles or more, our list price is set for the case buyer from the start. There's no inflated single-bottle price to discount down from.

What that means for you:

- One price, same for everyone — no minimum to hit to unlock the best rate
- No mixed-six gymnastics to qualify for a discount
- Our single-bottle price is typically at or below a traditional retailer's by-the-dozen rate

Put simply: the box discount is already baked into the price.

**And if you find it cheaper elsewhere?** Let us know. If the same wine is available at a lower price at another retailer (including at their mixed-six or by-the-dozen rate) we're happy to match it.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
